Ray Preston Hild is an accomplished senior management and strategic partnership professional with over 23 years of experience in the wireless industry. He has consulted on several major initiatives, co-authored industry white papers and served on a variety of wireless committees for major industry associations. Some topics include: unified communications, interoperability, enterprise wireless systems, network densification. He has advised on, and been engaged in, many major wireless builds for government, healthcare, hospitality, higher education, public venue and enterprise markets across the United States.
Ray has held management and leadership positions with several prominent corporations over the years. Those include Sprint-Nextel, Corning and most recently Galtronics. He has won several awards for service and performance. Some are: 14 time President’s Council awardee, The CEO Award, Public Sector Distinguished Service Award, recognition award from the IACP from the Superintendents of the Maryland State Police, the New York State Police and the Director of the Division of State and Provincial Police, and the 9-11 FBI Service Award from the Washington DC Field Office.
He is well known as a DAS Industry thought leader and is highly engaged with CTIA, PCIA and the HetNet Forum serving on many working groups that focus on important industry issues. He is also heavily involved in supporting those who served through 185 for Heroes, an organization that hosts events for Operation 2nd Chance to help our warriors when they return from duty.
Currently Ray is the Vice President of Sales in North America for Galtronics, a world-wide leader in the antenna industry.
