Sanjiv Gupta joined Intel Corp in 1998 with the Mobile Graphics team. In his most recent role as a Technical Partner Architect, he led the creation of the Retail Analytics partner community in the Intel(R) Internet of Things Solutions Alliance and has enabled several ISVs specializing in Analytics into a Go-to-Market strategy with Intel Corp. He is also responsible for leading several IoT GTM efforts in the People’s Republic of China in the areas of Oil & Gas, Mining, Steel and Textile Manufacturing, Whole Sale, Industrial Zone Infrastructure, etc. Prior to this role, Gupta led several cross-functional teams to create and evangelize wireless technologies (11ac, WiMAX, OIC, WiGig, Wireless Charging) at Intel, Industry and Customer Events world-wide. He researched and developed Intel's first comprehensive Marketing Requirements Document for Intel's 3G/4G LTE modules, managed customer accounts and provided design-in Intel Wifi enablement for HP, Toshiba and SONY mobile PCs. Gupta also provided technical consulting to drive successful green-field WiMAX interoperability tests in Argentina and Mexico, directly impacting design-wins, and led the Intel WiMAX Emerging Market's technical initiative with Cisco's WiMAX group, Intel Health, and Motion Computing. Prior to Intel, Sanjiv served in various design and product marketing roles at Texas Instruments, Cirrus Logic, and Rockwell Semiconductors. Gupta earned a BSEE specialized in RF/Microwaves from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a MSEE from the University of Texas, Arlington.
